Short Films

I have a passion for directing and telling stories visually; for fun, I like to create narrative pieces. They are as follows:

  • KUBO (2019, 11 minutes): A white college student believes he is an asian man in this bizarre study of identity.

  • horny now (2020, 3 minutes): A red-tinted dance trip set to Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive.”

  • The Parable of Chauncey McDonald (2021, 9 minutes) : Happy-go-lucky on the surface, conflicted beneath, Chauncey finds himself in a chase for his life and his dreams.

  • A Film About My Mother (2021, 13.5 minutes): A Chinese immigrant adapts to living in America through a newfound faith.

  • A Dog Named Nugget (2022, 9 minutes): An offbeat, breezy crime story depicts a home invasion that does not go according to plan.

  • Ashes (2023, 5 minutes): A man remembers the loss of a loved one by writing his memories on paper.

  • indecency (2023, 18 minutes): A wannabe serial killer gets caught in the act of his first murder by a little boy.

  • Little Guys (2024, 3 minutes): A man explains his recent encounter(s) of 1-foot-tall people

  • Lights Out (2024, 12 minutes): The final conversation between life-long friends.

  • Lucky Charms (2025, 13 minutes): A superstitious young man recounts an awkward first date to his best friend.
